Hailing from Inglewood, CA,  Tia P., a Howard University Alum, is a multifaceted artist whose talents as a rapper, singer, songwriter, drummer, producer, and actress are redefining the boundaries of modern music. Known for her unparalleled lyrical prowess and magnetic stage presence, Tia P. brings a bold, innovative, and unapologetically authentic sound to the industry.
 

Often compared to icons like Lauryn Hill and Janelle Monáe, Tia P.’s music seamlessly blends hip-hop, R&B, soul, and funk, delivering a timeless yet fresh sound that resonates deeply with her growing audience. A commanding force on stage, Tia P. has opened for legendary acts such as KRS-One, Bootsy Collins, and DJ Quik, while headlining iconic venues like the BMO Arena, Roxy, Viper Room, and 1 OAK (formerly Key Club).
 

Tia P. is also celebrated in the sync licensing world, earning the title of “The Placement Queen” with over 300 sync placements to her name. Her music has been featured in prominent campaigns, including the Google commercial featuring NFL stars, Tyler Perry’s "Beauty in Black", and RuPaul’s highly anticipated show "Slaycation", set to debut in late 2024.
 

Adding to her impressive list of achievements, Tia P. co-wrote the iconic team anthem "Running With The Angels" with 5-time Grammy winner Brittany Howard for Los Angeles' Angel City FC, a song that has become a rallying cry for the team and its fans. She also co-wrote the theme song "Fortune" for the third season of HBO’s A Black Lady Sketch Show, which went on to win 2 Emmy Awards, further cementing her legacy as a powerful and versatile creator.
 

As an actress, Tia P. has showcased her talent in several national and worldwide commercials, most notably as a drummer in Bad Bunny's Hot Cheetos commercial, and in a recurring role as Kim Nitty on the hit television show All American. Her on-screen presence adds yet another dimension to her creative portfolio, solidifying her as a multifaceted entertainer.
 

This year, Tia P. made a standout appearance on Netflix’s hit show Rhythm & Flow, where out of 40 contestants, she landed in the Top 7 and wowed audiences with her powerful performance of her single “West,” now a fan-favorite. She also released the explosive single “Tarantino,” which showcases her storytelling abilities and cutting-edge visuals.
